GoCAM prides itself on functioning as a service to the community of Gorham, both as a space to create programming, as well as as a resource for citizens to learn about and use professional video equipment.
Technical Instruction is available in the following areas:
- Camera Operation – Portable and Studio Canon XA and XF-Series cameras, as well as Canon Rebel DSLRs.
- Audio Equipment – Mixers & Microphones
- Video Editing – Adobe Premiere Pro, Premiere Rush
- Graphics and Character Generation – Alpha Keying (Green Screen) and basic effects training.
- Individual or group instruction is available. We will try to accommodate your particular needs and questions.
Equipment Use
GoCAM lends cameras, projectors and screens, and other types of equipment for citizens to use. Everything you need to create content for CH 2 is available at the studio.
Equipment available for reservation includes:
- Canon XF-100 series Professional Camcorders
- Canon Rebel Xsi DSLR (photos only)
- Professional video tripods
- Professional video shotgun microphones
- Sennheiser wireless lavalier microphones
- Rode wireless lavalier microphones
- Video editing workstations (Studio use only)
- Large-scale green screen (Studio use only)
- Podium (Studio use only)
- Studio Space
- Oher equipment may be available upon request
GoCAM’s policy for equipment use:
- You must be a citizen of Gorham.
- You must be 18 years of age or older (exceptions do apply – please ask.)
- You must complete a training process to ensure proper operation of the equipment.
